About Transat Airlines

Air Transat is a Canadian airline based in Montreal, Quebec, which was founded in December 1986 and started operating from November 14, 1987. The airline operates scheduled and charter flights to 60 destinations in 25 countries from its operating bases at the Montréal-Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport and Toronto Pearson International Airport. The airline also has operations at Calgary International Airport, Québec City Jean Lesage International Airport, Vancouver International Airport and others. Air Transat has won many awards, the recent one was in 2012 which was awarded by Skytrax as the World's Best Leisure Airline.
