About Bahamas Air

Bahamas Air is the national airline of Bahamas, which was founded in 1973 and started operating from June 1973. The airline operates scheduled services to 32 destinations from its base at the Lynden Pindling International Airport. It is headquartered in Nassau and flies to many domestic and international destinations, including Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Orlando, etc. It was launched as Bahamasair Holdings Limited from the amalgamation of two private owned carriers, Out Island Airways and Flamingo Airways. Bahamas Air is wholly owned by the Bahamas Government.
