About Libyan Airlines

Libyan Airlines, formerly known as Libyan Arab Airlines is the flag carrier of Libya, which was founded in September 1964 and started operations from August 1965. The airline operates services to 22 destinations from its hub at the Tripoli International Airport. It is a member of the Arab Air Carriers Organization and the International Air Transport Association. Libyan Airlines frequently flies to Benina International Airport and has its headquarters in Tripoli, Libya. The airline is wholly owned by the Government of Libya.
