TAM Mercosur or TAM Airlines (Paraguay) is the flag carrier and the national airline of Paraguay, which was founded in 1962 as LAP and started operating as TAM in 1998. It is headquartered in Asunción, Paraguay and frequently flies to Guarani International Airport. TAM Mercosur is owned by the LATAM Airlines Group and is a member of the Oneworld alliance.
